This Privacy Policy explains how Wind AI Studio ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the Voice Cloner app (the "App"). We designed the App to keep your data minimal and, where possible, on your device.

1. Data we process

• Voice recordings (biometric data). The reference audio you record or upload to create a voice. This may be considered biometric data under laws such as the GDPR and Illinois BIPA.
• Generated audio. The speech you generate. This is stored on your device; we do not keep a cloud copy.
• Account data. If you sign in, basic identifiers (e.g. email, name, photo, and a user ID) via Firebase Authentication.
• Subscription data. Purchase and entitlement status, processed by Adapty and the App Store. We never receive your full payment card details.
• Diagnostics. Crash and basic usage data to keep the App working.

2. How we use it

We use your reference audio solely to create your voice and generate the speech you request. We use account and subscription data to provide Pro features, and diagnostics to maintain reliability. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your voice to train shared/global models.

3. Where your voice is processed

Reference audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our voice-generation server to produce speech. We store only what is needed to operate the voice you created; generated audio stays on your device.

4. Third parties

• Google Firebase — authentication, configuration, crash reporting.
• Adapty — subscription management and entitlements.
• Apple App Store — payment processing.

Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

5. Retention & deletion

You can delete a voice at any time from within the App, which removes its reference audio from our server. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@windai.studio. We will action verified requests within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live). We do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
